Its perfectly OK. I was born Christian and I have a PhD in Metaphysics (wholeness and wellness). I have studied so much around the world with so many cultures and I know without a doubt that my Christian religion is the true one but there is a lot to be said about metaphysics. It is not hocus pocus or anything to be afraid of. The experts in the field are very knowledgeable and see things in a different light than most people. Look up Dr. Wayne Dyer on the internet and Joseph Campbell.
The infinite words of wisdom have helped me for years. So go for it and you will see how much there is to learn. Good luck.
