Question by Zzzzz: What do you think of people who do Chakra healing?
Or any other kind of healing that is not medically based? I think it’s kinda dumb, but sad b/c you see kids in the news who are dying b/c their family won’t take them to a regular Dr.

Well, I never tried Chakra healing (though I’ve looked at meditations dealing with it). I can’t say that I would trust it. I have a few family members who are really into the alternative medicine and we’ve actually argued about it several times. Personally I’ve never really understood how it could work, or this opposition to Doctors. I myself trust a medical professional far more than alternative medicine, and see no reason not to see a doctor for a problem. But I also know people who swear that other kinds of healing has worked for them.
People have also talked about using alternative medicines for stress related issues, which makes sense. However, for anything medically related I would have to say that the best advice is to see a doctor.

I am a spiritual healer & I work via the chakras.
I do not think that it is ‘dumb’, it is an ‘alternative’ healing method to run along side traditional medicine.
Those kids who are dying will be due to the spiritual or religious superstitions of their parents.
